David L. Dey is the president of the Institute for Social Entrepreneurship, a B. Thomas Golisano Foundation funded initiative.
In December 2002, David L. Dey spearheaded the development of the Institute for Social Entrepreneurship at Roberts Wesleyan College by securing a two-year research grant from the B. Thomas Golisano Foundation; in 2006, the Institute became an independent venture.
The Institute conducts research, designs and implements initiatives and programs that train individuals and promote Social Entrepreneurship. The cutting edge research and training series have led to several breakthroughs in the field of Social Entrepreneurship including:
* The development of the Journey curriculum, a comprehensive Social Entrepreneurship curriculum.
* The Institute has helped to develop adult entrepreneurs through its training series
David is one of the nation’s foremost experts in research and application of Social Entrepreneurship. David is a professor, presenter, author and expert on Social Entrepreneurship. David has a B.A. from Delaware State University and a M.S. degree from Roberts Wesleyan College.
